Tenant Union Initiative
Tenant FocusBuilding tenant unions across Missoula to collectively fight for better living standards, dignity for all tenants, and eliminating the inequity between tenant & landlord.
Current Goals
- Organize tenant unions in at least five apartment complexes by year‑end.
- Pass a “just cause” eviction ordinance at the city level.
- Create a tenant‑rights hotline and know‑your‑rights workshops.
- Establish a tenant defense fund for legal support.
How to Get Involved
Attend our monthly tenant assembly, volunteer as a building organizer, or help with outreach. No experience needed – we provide training!

EnvironmentalFighting to preserve and keep our river clean from pollution and development threats. The Blackfoot is a lifeline for our community and ecosystem.
Current Goals
- Block proposed industrial discharge permits.
- Restore riparian habitat through volunteer clean‑ups.
- Monitor water quality and publish annual reports.
- Advocate for stronger state‑level protections for all Montana rivers.
How to Get Involved
Join our river clean‑up crews, help with water testing, or come to public hearings to speak up for the river.

- Halt approval of new data centers that rely on fossil‑fuel energy.
- Demand full environmental impact reviews for all large‑scale projects.
- Promote legislation that requires tech companies to invest in renewable energy.
- Educate the public about water usage and grid strain from data centers.
